Reduction of some insecticide residues from grapes with washing treatments

Insecticide application is the most common method of insect control in agriculture. Efficiency washing treatments reduction insecticide (chlorpyrifos-methyl and lambda-cyhalothrin) residues from grapes were investigated this study. The trial was established a Sultana seedless vineyard Sar?göl District, Manisa Province, Turkey 2020. Method verification performed with recovery, limit quantification precision. Pesticide-free spiked 0.5, 1 5 times MRL for pesticides. recovery chlorpyrifos-methyl lambda-cyhalothrin 102 101% respectively. QuEChERS yielded an overall-recovery 101%. These figures within SANTE limits (60-140%) detection insecticides below MRLs. Grapes sprayed four harvested 0, 2, 4 7 d after last spray. Washing (tap water, citric acetic acid) ultrasonic cleaning applied to grapes. decreased residue levels reductions increased prolonged durations. Reductions also harvest durations acid washing, ultrasonic-cleaning methods provided more efficient than tap water.
